Controller Placement Optimization Strategy Based on Multi-Objective Bat Algorithm

Aiming at the controller placement problem under airborne information network based on logical centralized control, a method named multi-objective bat algorithm based optimal deployment on controllers is proposed(OBA-CP). As targeting the global average delay, the whole network outage probability and the controller load imbalance, an integer programming model of the controller placement under airborne information network based on multi-objective optimization is established. The optimal allocation scheme between transport nodes and controllers in the network is studied by the improved multi-objective bat algorithm for iterative evolution. The simulation results show that the Pareto optimal solution set can be obtained by using the proposed optimization method, so as to realize the reasonable and effective distribution for multiple controllers in the network. Compared with the NCPSO(network clustering particle swarm optimization algorithm) and the SPEA-II(strength pareto evolutionary algorithm-II) algorithm, the OBA-CP algorithm has better network performance in terms of network delay and reliability. It shortens the average computing time, which indicates that the proposed algorithm is suitable for the controller placement problem under airborne information network with the dynamic topology environment.
