PR-based SAR Reconstruction Algorithm for Phase Noise Mitigation with Block-Processing

In practice, the imagery of synthetic aperture radar (SAR) can be seriously contaminate by the random phase noise caused by the frequency jitter of transmit signal and atmospheric turbulence. Through the traditional phase retrieval based SAR autofocus algorithms, the computation time will increase sharply by the raising size of scene. In this paper, we introduce block-processing to the problem of phase retrieval based SAR imagery to simplify the reconstruction. A new quick SAR imaging algorithm is proposed to reconstruct the SAR image with phase-corrupted data in high quality and can greatly reduce the running time. Experiments shows the significant performance in recovery of the SAR image of proposed approach and the ability of reducing the computational complexity.
