The Design and Simulation of Coting's Thermal Shock Resistance System

The spacecraft is repeatedly in and out of shadow during service, and the engine nozzle is repeatedly sprayed with flame and cooled heat cycle. This kind of long-term heat cycle can cause degradation of coating material performance, and the coating surface produce black spot, crack, and then fall off. This phenomenon is called thermal shock. The thermal shock resistance of the spray coating material is a very important index. The precise control and testing of temperature is an important aspect for the test system of thermal shock resistance of coatings. In the paper, an accurate temperature control method for thermal shock test system for thermal shock of coating is presented. PLC is the main controller, and the colorimetric pyrometer is used to make real-time temperature measurement. Thyristor controlled heating power can control the temperature, and LabVIEW software is used to simulate PID temperature control of heating link. The temperature curve and the power percentage change curve of the simulated results show that the selected parameter is good for temperature control.
