Implementation of the European Quality Assessment Framework in the Romanian Education System

The concept of quality has a strong cultural load, being dependent on the values promoted by individuals, groups and society as a whole. The quality of education is defined, promoted, assured and evaluated on the basis of values expressed at the social, school, school and community levels. The national management and quality assurance system represents all the institutional structures, rules and procedures, as well as the concrete activities of design, implementation, evaluation and quality review at the level of the education system, the subsystems and the school units. It includes institutional structures at the Local Evaluation and Quality Assurance Commission (LEQAC) at local level and other national commissions: the Romanian Agency for Quality Assurance in Pre-university Education (ARACIP) and the Romanian Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ARACIS), but also other structures established at the local, county or national level (according to the decision of the central and local authorities). Pluralismul educațional, respectarea tradiției și identității naționale, toleranța, libertatea de opinie, demnitatea, patriotismul, independența gândirii, respectarea celorlalți, cinstea și respectul pentru justiție și pentru drepturile celorlalți, decența și altele sunt valorile fundamentale ale educației promovate în România și în Europa prin sistemul național de management si asigurare a calității. Educational pluralism, respect for national tradition and identity, tolerance, freedom of opinion, dignity, patriotism, independence of thought, respect for others, honesty and respect for justice and the rights of others, decency and others are the fundamental values of education promoted in Romania and in Europe the national quality management and quality assurance system.
