E-learning in Computer-Assisted Training, Advantages, Disadvantages and Future Trends

The present paper outlines e-learning from the perspective of the advantages and disadvantages of this education system. At the same time, the limitations of e-learning are presented. The study is carried out taking into account several aspects, including: the need for educational software in the world, in general, and in Romania, in particular; the types of existing educational software: websites, encyclopedias, e-books, etc.; the software market. In the end, there are some conclusions about e-learning.
