Power Supply of Oil Production Facilities Using Associated Petroleum Gas

The paper discusses the current issues of the utilization of hydrogen sulfide feedstock. The paper presents incentive measures of state regulation on the reduction of gas flaring as well as explains the reasons for slow implementation of projects for the beneficial use of associated petroleum gas (APG) in Russia. The local power supply system for the oil and gas field is considered. The paper also deals with the assessment of the impact of electromagnetic interference, generated by devices with a non-linear current-voltage characteristic, and presents the results of mathematical modeling of the mineral complex facility. A design methodology, ensuring electromagnetic compatibility of electrical installations in the load nodes of a stand-alone electrical network is proposed.
