Development of a Mathematical Model of Software-defined Network Segment

In queuing systems, network traffic can be represented as a procedure for the receipt and processing of an incoming application from a subscriber. As the queuing system under consideration, the M/M/1 system with one serving device, as well as with an infinite buffer, was selected. To optimize traffic balancing, an additional criterion for the average multi-path delay has been introduced into the well-known model. Mathematical dependencies for the test section of the SDN network are derived, which allow one to estimate the average delay in route construction. A model with the introduced criterion showed a 6-39% best result relative to the known model.
