Development of a Portable Device for Iontophoresis

Iontophoresis is increasingly being used to treat purulent wounds and maintain skin tone. However, for highly effective treatment, a sufficiently frequent repetition of this procedure is required. Therefore, it was decided to try to develop a portable device for iontophoresis. To establish acceptable parameters, a chemical review of the processes occurring during iontophoresis was conducted. Based on a chemical review and analysis of existing analogues, a portable device for iontophoresis in the form of a patch was developed. The article describes the main stages of development (selection of components, substantiation of the circuit diagram, etc.) and reviews the chemical assessment of the effectiveness of iontophoresis.
