Adaptive Control System for Semiconductor Frquency Converters

This paper presents mathematical simulation of the adaptive control system for semiconductor frequency converters. Primary approaches of the elements and nodes operating of the adaptive regulator were considered. Mathematical model of the valve-type frequency converter on cycloconverter base was proposed. The proposed model is assumed to have zero voltage on the valves and its switching is arising immediately. This allowed to significantly simplify the mathematical treatments, demonstrate principles and algorithms of regulation system nodes operating with preservation of the enough tolerance. It was established that adaptive regulators usage, in which during operations in zone of pulsating currents significantly reduces transient coefficient of the proportion canal, allowed to reduce no-current condition and thus to increase systems efficiency totally.
