Comparison of Different Approaches to Calculate Magnetic Field of Moving Magnets for Liquid Metal Stirring

The work proposes several approaches to calculate general features of moving magnets used for electromagnetic stirring. The problem is formulated using arbitrary Lagrangian-Eulerian finite element technique and harmonic analysis of magnetic field. Estimation of the approaches is conducted by comparisons of magnitudes of magnetic flux density and time-average forces distributions. In the paper it will be considered two cases of moving magnets, these are counter-spinning magnets mode and co-spinning one. The process of calculation has been done by finite element method software as Comsol Multiphysics and Elmer.
