Finite element mesh generation technique for numerical computation of cutoff wave numbers in rectangular and L -shaped waveguide

This paper presents, Finite element mesh generation technique is applied for solving two dimensional Helmholtz equations in electromagnetic theory to the wave guide of L - shaped and square region subject to dirichlet boundary conditions, the accuracy of the present method are illustrated with numerical examples.
