Study and Application of an Improved Cascaded Integrator-Comb Filter

In Multirate-signal processing, digital filtering is a key technique, which is before extracting or after interpolating in sampling rate conversion. In this paper, an improved cascaded integrator-comb filter is presented, which is better to prevent superimposed effect happening. To avoid superimposed effect is studied, and the amplitude frequency characteristics are analyzed. The filter presented is used in the In-phase and Quadrature modulation and it is proved that our filter is excellent to meet the demand by eye diagram, simulation and analysis.
