Low cost Brussels sprouts harvester for small farms

This paper describes the design and construction of a low-cost Brussels sprouts harvester and sorter done in partnership with the Hmong immigrant farmers in Minnesota. Preliminary testing with the initial prototype proved that the mechanisms work well and result in about 85% marketable sprouts.
