The concept of trust management among the nodes (UAVs) in a network is proposed here. A flying ad hoc Network (FANET) has a number of small UAVs connected in ad-hoc manner. UAVs are used across the world for civilian, commercial, as well as military applications. The basic design problem for multi-UAV systems is the cooperation and collaboration among the UAVs which is needed for communication. In this paper, a trust model is introduced to improve the trustworthiness in FANETs. According to the behavior and performance of the node, classification is done. Quality of Service (QoS) and social parameters are used to evaluate the trust value of each node. Membership matrix is computed to compute the membership of each node among three clusters i.e. bad, neutral & good. The calculated results show that the performance of the proposed model fuzzy classification trust model (FCTM) is better than the existing models such as COI-Hi Trust model, AFSTrust model, in highly dynamic environment for FANETs.
