Performance Analysis at Near and Far users of a NOMA System Over Fading Channels

Non-Orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) scheme is a multiple access technique which is a potential candidate for 5G technology owing to its inherent advantage of high spectral efficiency. In this work, we derived the closed-form expressions of bit error rate (BER) at near and far users of the considered downlink NOMA in the presence of successive interference cancellation (SIC) over Nakagami-m fading channel. The analytical results are corroborated by Monte Carlo simulations.
