A Review of Cultural Influence on Technology Acceptance

The importance of transferring information technology to different sectors of the economies for developing countries has been investigated by previous studies but little research has been carried out to discover how culture and its values affect acceptance and use of technologies This paper contributes to the existing literature by comprehensively exploring the relationship between culture and technology acceptance. The study will help technology startup companies to consider cultural values of people and users in different places when introducing new technologies hence achieving the process of “culturalization”.
