Performance analysis and survey on security of password managers and various schemes of p2p models

A password is a string of characters which is used to check the authenticity of a user. Nowadays, with the growth of number of application every user uses, it becomes practically impossible to remember so many complex passwords and it is not secure to reuse passwords on different applications. This is where a password manager comes into the picture. A password manager is an application which provides a convenient way of storing credentials of different applications in a single place. The encryption scheme being used have serious concerns over data confidentiality. To keep the user's credentials secure from attacks, we require a stronger encryption scheme coupled with an efficient network design. To provide Security and Access control over a specific network, there are various encryption schemes. In this paper, we analyze and explore the different techniques of encryption as well as the structure of various p2p network models.
