Trends of FPGA use in Automotive Engineering

Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) devices have some very unique characteristics which make them adaptable and highly usable in various applications. Owing to those virtues, FPGA devices have become increasingly accepted and integrated into automotive engineering over the past decade. This paper is a study on the trends observed in the use of FPGA devices in automotive engineering, from 2004 to 2017.
