Intelligent Ambulance Management System with A* Algorithm

Road traffic management has become a large problem in contemporary society. Where the ambulance gets blocked in the traffic load and has to wait for some minutes to hours to clear the road. This may cause loss of live because of lack of treatment at proper time. To overcome this problem and to save many lives, a model proposed in this project which provides the functionality that, the ambulance can reach the patient through finding the shortest path. The shortest path finding is done by using A* algorithm. The traffic junctions along the shortest path are giving priority for ambulance manually. The traffic congestion is also considering here. The route map will be dynamic as per the traffic load. This scenario is done by creating a data base. The message regarding accident is provide to the ambulance by server after getting the location of the accident site. The location of vehicle will automatically upload to the server at the time of accident. The shortest path is upload to the dashboard that is provided for the ambulance.
