Information systems in water management

This article is devoted to the analysis and role of modern information and communication technologies and systems in the water sector, and the relevance and necessity of using information systems in water use to improve the ameliorative state of irrigated land is justified, which will solve problems such as improving the system for collecting information means of preparing data oriented to a new information technology, introducing an integrated organization of information flows, reduction of resources for data processing capacity, development of decision-making procedures for the formation of options for the development of water use, etc. The task of the most efficient use of water resources and improvement of land ameliorative condition is to obtain the maximum amount of products at lower cost. The assessment of water use efficiency is made not by their value, but by the effect obtained by the water consumer.
