Indoor Parking Navigation System Using Visible LED Light Communication

In recent years, visible light communication technology has been widely used in indoor positioning since GPS navigation often cannot work normally indoor and it is difficult for car owners to find a parking space. The use of LED light source for address coding can realize indoor positioning navigation. According to the actual situation of the indoor parking lot, the infrared sensor, PIN photoelectric sensor, Zigbee communication and Bluetooth communication are comprehensively utilized to realize the intelligent positioning navigation function. The reliability of the system has been verified by the parking lot model: the infrared sensor can detect the parking space information in real time; then, the server sends the information to the LED lighting fixture through Zigbee communication; next, the lighting fixture modulates the address and parking space information into the LED light through OOK code; last, the receiver receives the LED light through the PIN photoelectric sensor, and after decoding, the information is sent to the client through the Bluetooth and the client uses the received information to realize the positioning navigation.
