Study of Conductivity on Hydrogen Peroxide Concentration by High Repetitive Underwater Discharge

Underwater discharges have been studied for algae treatment and ballast water treatment. Liquids have several conductivity, e.g. tap water is about 100 μS/cm, sea water is about 45,000 μS/cm. Therefore, it is necessary that investigation about the influence of underwater discharges on the change of conductivity. Our research is study of conductivity on H₂O₂ concentration using high repetitive discharges in water. The calibration curve of H₂O₂ was drawn. The production rate of H202 decreased until the number of shots reached 40,000 shots, and the production rate of H₂O₂ became almost constant after 40,000 shots. The copper and the tungsten electrode were not difference until 12,000 shots, after, the tungsten electrode was higher about H₂O₂. The copper electrode had more damage from an electron microscope.
