Design Analysis Of MPPT using Fuzzy Logic And Artificial Neural Network Controller

A study is performed on the MPPT strategy of Solar PV engulfing the background techniques applied for Fuzzy Logic and Artificial Neural Network(ANN) to produce a corresponding controller for controlling and later maintaining the duty ratio of the DC-DC converter with simple R load sourced by the Solar PV. The combined effects of the two controllers are studied on the system to analyse the system performance. Fuzzy logic was initially built and interfaced to the system and training of ANN was done through data collected from the FLC(Fuzzy-Logic-Controller) – based Solar PV system to view the ANN controller based system efficiency. The performance of corresponding curves were scrutinized based on efficiency improvement of individual controllers who’s results aimed at FLC being a better controller for MPPT regarding solar PV purpose.
