Fast and Universal Semiconductor Loss Calculation Method

A novel approach for fast semiconductor loss calculations is shown. It is based on an analytical description of the individual devices' loss terms in a half-bridge circuit and a numerical integration of the operating points. Therefore it combines the benefits of the analytical loss calculation with the flexibility of a numerical circuit simulation.
