Recent Advance on the Stability of Switched Systems based on Formal Methods

A switching system is a typical hybrid system, which comprises of a family of subsystems and switching rules describing the switching relationship between subsystems. Most of the physical world is the physical process of the interaction between continuous dynamic systems and discrete dynamic systems, so the research on switching systems is very important. In recent years, the automaton theory in the computer field has been applied to switching systems, and formal methods have been used to study the stability of switching systems. This paper provides a survey of the formal methods of discrete-time linear switching systems, and describes the latest developments between switching systems and automata, provides possible future research directions.
