SCR System Design of Wartsila 4L20 Diesel Engine

The air pollution caused by diesel engine exhaust emission was studied. Firstly, the research direction of selective catalytic reduction technology (SCR) was determined by studying the current emission problems and the technological development status and regulations of various countries in the world. The exhaust emission datas of Wartsila 4L20 diesel engine were measured through the experiment, and the theoretical data of installing SCR system of this diesel engine was obtained through calculation. According to these data, the size of injection pump and catalyst were selected.
