Attacks, Countermeasures and Security Paradigms in IoT

IoT is reaching new heights at a rapid pace but it has many vulnerabilities so it is important to discuss them. Various technological advancements have taken place because of IoT in the fields such as transport, commerce and healthcare. Various characteristics of IoT have been discussed in this paper such as Intelligence, large scale, sensing, unique identification, dynamic environment, heterogeneity, connectivity, self-configuring and authenticity. Security requirements in IoT have also been discussed in the paper. In order to secure the ML model, various security paradigms are discussed in this paper such as Bluetooth Low Energy Security, Firewalls, Datagram Transport Layer (DTLS) Security, etc.
