An Opportunistic User Scheduling Scheme for Ultra-Dense Wireless Networks

This paper proposes a novel packet scheduling scheme, called as throughput enhanced scheduling (TES), for future ultra-dense networks. TES introduces a novel parameter to the scheduling decision making and reformulates the parameters used by the state of the art schemes. The performance of TES is compared with well-known schemes. The simulation results show that TES scheme can outperform all the compared scheduling schemes.
