Different Types of File Format Image Compression using Transform Domain Up-Down Conversion

In any multimedia systems, reducing the file size and making it to support all types of format of system plays an important role. Image compression depends on the quality of system. There are many types of technique used to compress the image but some advantage and some disadvantage are increasing. This paper is based on up down conversion and block coding. Up down conversion is transmitter and receiver part of the system and block coding is depending on block size. Whole image is divided into sub block and change the binary form with the help of block coding. Whole process is simulated MATLAB software and calculated parameter such as MSE and PSNR. The block coding is good achievement compared to previous one.
