Electromagnetic Interference Reduction From Printed Circuit Boards

print-circuit-board (PCB) as the connection electronic component is an important part in electrical and electronic products especially in electrical systems. However, electromagnetic interference (EMI) can be produced by using of switches in converter valves. This paper using CST software indicates the different shielding structure of PCB in electrical systems aiming to near-field to far-field, and compares how the different changes of shielding can change the shielding effectiveness of PCB. This paper introduces the structure of power system commutation valve and the cause of electromagnetic interference on PCB, and then uses CST software to test the anti-interference of PCB in the commutation valve.
