Design and Power Quality Analysis of Solar LED Tower

Solar energy is clean energy. It is available in free and huge amount. Solar energy does not produce any harmful gases like other electrical power generation plant (Thermal Power Plant). The solar energy has main challenge of its utilization. This is because of the fluctuation of solar due to the irradiance. Hence the variation in the output of PV system is also occurs. Day by day use of the non-linear load is increasing. Due to this power quality may get disturbed. In PV solar system we need inverters to convert direct current into alternating. Here inverter is a switching device. Due to the use of inverters current, stability may get affected. Hence we need to analyze the solar power and reduce power quality issues. This paper present Design and power quality analysis of solar LED (AC) tower which is Manufactured and fabricated at Janhavi Solar India Private Limited Co. At Post:- Koregaon Bhima Tal:-Shirur Dist:- Pune Maharashtra, India. The power quality analysis is also done by measuring electrical parameters such as rms voltage, rms current, power factor, current harmonics, voltage harmonics, total current harmonics distortion, total voltage harmonics distortion, active power and reactive power.
