Impact Analysis of Operation of Onboard Equipment on the Measurement Inaccuracies of Sensors

The paper investigates the influence of purpose designed and support equipment on the accuracy of the measurement data of the induction vector of the Earth's magnetic field components by onboard three-component magnetometer sensors. The flight and prototypes of the small spacecraft “Aist” are considered. They are identical in design and internal layout. The adequacy of the operation of the magnetometer sensors on the middle-class “Foton-M” No. 2 spacecraft is analyzed. Based on a large amount of data studies, estimates actual errors of direct measurements of components and indirect measurements of the modulus of the induction vector of the Earth's magnetic field using spacecraft magnetometer sensors are obtained. The research results can be used in the design of spacecraft information-measuring and control systems as well as in optimizing the layout of measuring instruments in the spacecraft internal environment.
