Research on Bi-level Planning Method of Active Distribution Network Considering Flexible Interconnection of Source Network Load and Storage

The traditional distribution network planning does not consider the influence of uncertain factors of intermittent distributed generation (DG) such as wind generation (WG) and photovoltaic (PV). In this paper, the trusted output models of WG and PV are established to correct the load forecasting results. And based on the load forecasting results, the bi-level planning model of active distribution network (ADN) is put forward. The upper-level optimization aims at the minimum level of planning annual comprehensive cost, and the grid planning and energy storage system location optimization are carried out under the constraint of grid operation safety. The lower layer optimization takes the maximum benefit of the energy storage system. The goal is to optimize the capacity and power of the energy storage system based on the energy storage capacity and power constraints. The optimal distribution network planning scheme is obtained through iterative optimization of the upper and lower layers. Finally, an active distribution network in a park is taken as an example to verify the effectiveness of the proposed planning method.
