Review On Insulation And Reliability Of Dry-type Transformer

the traditional insulation design and manufacturing process of the dry-type transformer still have the defects, and the hidden danger caused is a serious threat to the long-term safe operation of the transformer. In this paper, the insulation mode of the traditional dry-type transformer and the application of the new insulating material of high-strength silicon rubber are analyzed. The concept of the main backup multi-insulation design in the combined insulation is put forward, and the solid insulation system of the dry-type transformer is strengthened by the precise design and the defect-free manufacture. The safety and the reliability of the dry-type transformer are substantially improved, the contradiction of the insulation safety and the energy-saving design is solved, and the performance of the dry-type transformer is improved by a new step.
