Accessing Capacity Planning of Distributed Generations Considering the Temporal Correlation Characteristics of Wind-Photovoltaic-Load

With the increasing proportion of renewable energy in distribution network, bidirectional power flow and voltage overshoot influence the instability of power system due to the access of large scale of distributed generation (DG), so it is necessary to research the access capacity planning method for the maximum allowable DG of each node. In this paper, the temporal complementary characteristics of wind, photovoltaic and load is considered, and an improved K-means clustering method is presented to generate wind-photovoltaic-load temporal correlation scenario. Then, a capacity planning model considering the reactive power support capacity of DG is proposed to maximize the DG capacity in distribution network. Simulation on a modified IEEE 33-bus system has verified the effectiveness of the proposed method.
