Mobility-based Performance Comparison of MBQA-OLSRv2 and MBMA-OLSRv2 Routing Protocols

This paper conducts a comparative analysis for the performance of our multipath routing protocols, namely multipath battery and queue aware OLSRv2 (MBQA-OLSRv2) and multipath battery and mobility aware OLSRv2 (MBMA-OLSRv2). EXata network simulator is utilized to conduct extensive simulations to analyze various QoS and energy-related metrics. Simulation results prove that the MBMA-OLSRv2 scheme outperformed MBQA-OLSRv2 routing scheme according to the considered metrics including throughput, latency, packets lose, and energy consumption especially for high mobility scenarios.
