On the Issue of Determining the Tuning Parameters of a Functional Controller

The paper observes issues related to determination of tuning parameters of controllers in random dynamic modes. The described approach focuses on the control process quality assessment on the basis of indicators of the state of uncertainty of the adjustable parameter relative to a given value. The paper proposes to use the concepts of entropy potentials values introduced in the framework of the corresponding theory as such indicators. This approach does not contradict the existing methods, but complements and “expands” their capabilities. The implementation of the proposed solutions will help to increase the adaptability of the control system to changing operating conditions and the nature of existing disturbances.
