Application of Metamaterials for the Design of Antenna

Metamaterials have a very important role to play in new technologies, especially in the field of telecommunications. With the availability of the negative refractive index of metamaterials, the performance of microwave devices can be improved. These artificial devices have several advantages such as their integration with the planar environment and also their low cost of manufacture. In this article, we are interested in the design of volumic antennas in SIW using longitudinal slots and CSRR resonators.The results of the design of these antennas show an improvement in their performance in terms of adaptation and bandwidth.
