An Accurate Algorithm for Phase Center Evaluation

the determination of the phase center with high accuracy is critical in many applications, especially in antenna far field phase pattern measurements. The particle swarm optimization algorithm (PSO) and genetic algorithm (GA) is adopted to obtain the phase center of the antenna. Then, a comparison is done to show the difference between these two algorithms in finding of the phase center. Result gives that the PSO has a better performance in calculations speed than GA under the same calculation accuracy. At last. Some simulations are performed to ensure our conclusions.
