Analysis of the managerial competencies of the project managers of the civil construction companies of Cucuta as a competitive advantage

This research article presents an analysis of the relationship of the managerial competencies of the project managers of the civil construction companies of Cucuta that are framed in the functions, activities and roles of a person within the organization and the competitive advantage of companies supported by the value chain. To achieve the above, a diagnosis was made of the current state of the managerial competencies of the project managers of the civil construction companies of Cucuta. An analysis of the current status of the competitive advantage of companies in the construction sector supported by the value chain was also carried out. Subsequently, the relationship between managerial competencies and competitive advantage was analyzed through the correlation of Pearson variables. As a result, it was obtained that the correlation between the independent managerial competencies variable and the dependent competitive advantage variable have a moderate and significant positive correlation value.
