Study of Technological Monitoring in Information Systems Audit in Colombia

During the year 2019, the Universidad Catolica de Colombia advanced a process of curricular reform of its postgraduate programs at the Faculty of Engineering. For the Information Systems Audit Specialization program, an analysis of trends in research topics was carried out, based on a technological monitoring study using keywords associated with the terms of the program, the opinions of the program coordinator and teachers, with the purpose of defining the curricular areas of the curriculum and training trends at national and international level. The general search equation was developed and the consultation was carried out in the main Scopus collection, giving a result of 363 scientific articles, published between 2010 and 2019. With this information a research exercise was developed using the VantagePoint® software tool through which several reports were generated: the dynamics of publications by years and by countries, the themes associated with the field of knowledge, the correlation between the keywords and the analysis by authors.
