Information transmission in a system of power consumption accounting automation

The advantages of power consumption accounting automation for the purposes of power consumption management are well known. Such systems have long been applied as abroad, and in Russia at small-scale and large industrial firms. The author describes how the main economic effect for a customer from the application of these systems is a reduction of payments for used energy, and for power enterprises is in a decrease of consumption peak and reduction of investments for escalating of peak generating powers.
