Candy-Package Envelopes to Prompt Handwritten Letters

With the diversification of communication methods, letters are no longer the main communication tool. However, writing letters has various advantages, and efforts are being made to actively use letters in educational and medical settings. In this study, to create a letter-writing opportunity, we used an envelope consisting of a candy package. We held a workshop in which participants made a candy-package envelope and asked them to write a letter to use the envelope. After the workshop, we conducted a questionnaire survey to investigate their usage of letters and the effect of the candy-package envelope on prompting handwritten letters.
