A Wide-Supply-Voltage-Range CMOS Squarer

This paper proposes a new CMOS squaring circuit. Its major advantage over common squaring circuits are that 1) it can operate at either low voltage supplies or ultra low voltage supplies. 2) the proposed circuit is free from body effect. If the circuit operates with low voltage supplies, all transistors will be biased in saturation region of strong inversion. Similarly if the circuit operates with ultra low voltage supplies, all transistors will be biased in saturation region of weak inversion. Simulation results are carried by spice program and agree well with theoretical anticipation
