Thermal Behavior of FDM 3D Printing by Using Arduino Mega 2560 Approach

Nowadays, 3D printing technology has gained rapid popularity in the field of product design and material design. It creates tangible objects that replace defective materials immediately upon the properties of the nozzles and raw materials. It is different from conventional printers with limited printouts in document format. The problem of 3D printers is very hard of optimization control and complicated to material. This research aims to propose the thermal and dynamic speed that suitable for printing. The main goal is printing quality control of Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) 3D printers with PLA plastic lines from the thermal nozzle controlled by the Arduino Mega 2560 that compare the performance and quality of prints from the control of each format. The results show that efficiency and quality of printing at a reasonable speed of 30 mm/s. The heat for the molten PLA plastic line at the nozzle is suitably 170o C that bending stresses at 63 MPa. The recommend of this experiment is that increasing heat and speed significant effect on the efficiency and quality of the work piece.
