Automated Interactive Irrigation System - IoT Based Approach

India is top in the production of agricultural products and also faces many problems due to water supply and its usage. Government plays a major role in distributing the water through dams and rivers for substantial usage of water resources. When there is a water crisis, the available water is to be used very effectively by farmers in order to not loss their crops, so an effective automation system is to be made to overcome this challenge. This paper proposes a programmed water system which will decrease optimizing water usage and man power increasing productivity of crops. For framing this system, Arduino kit is utilized with moisture sensor and GSM module. Our structure is linked with mobile phone for interaction with the farmer.
