Electricity Monitoring and Controlling IoT Smart System

The technology is developing very quick where devices are required to perform and execute work automatically and also at real-time. The world is moving straight into information technology and various automation systems that supposed to be more integrated and complex. In this paper, we have design and implement an effective Internet of Things smart device used to control and monitor an electricity generator. This device is made using a three-dimensional printer and this device consist of different hardware components including Arduino UNO, RTC DS3231, Ethernet Shield, LCD, and Keypad. This device is able to monitor the generator working time, monitor the amount of energy consumption, and calculate the amount of fuel spent. The data is uploaded to the cloud so it can be reached using software application written especially for data analysis and decision support. Decision Support System is an interactive software system that helps the user come up with accurate and quick decisions in the given context. The Apriori algorithm is amongst the most well-known data mining technique which is used to find frequent item sets from a transaction dataset and determine association rules. This system is secured using a face recognition method; authorized persons can only access the data and information.
