Delay-Dependent Exponential Stability of Discrete 2-D Switched Systems with Delays

This paper investigates the problem of exponential stability for a class of 2-D discrete switched systems with state delays. By constructing a novel Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional, using the wirtinger inequality which covers the well-known Jensen inequality as a special case and employing the average dwell time approach, sufficient delay dependent criterion guaranteeing the exponential stability of the addressed systems is developed and formulated in terms of linear matrix inequalities. A numerical example is exploited to illustrate the effectiveness advantage of the proposed method.
