Output feedback control for discrete-time systems with actuators saturation

This paper studies the problem of output feedback control of discrete-time systems affected by input saturation. Two types of output controllers are investigated: namely, static output feedback and observer-based controller. The design conditions consist in an LMI-based feasibility problem. Compared to previous similar works, the presented design conditions remove the restriction of equality condition on the Lyapunov variable that lead to less conservative results. In addition, the set of initial states ensured to converge asymptotically to the origin is maximized. The effectiveness and merit of the proposed approach over the existing ones are shown through numerical examples.
