Analysis of the Power Consumption of the Booster Pump Station Using Simulation Models of Fluid Control

In this paper we analyze the energy consumption of booster pump station control systems. To deal with this task, two simulation models of liquid level control in the iThink program were developed. The first model was designed using only a frequency converter, and the second model was using a frequency converter and a Fuzzy Controller. An imitation of the liquid level control process was carried out, and from this graph of pump energy consumption were obtained. Based on the initial and obtained data, a comparative analysis of the effectiveness of the considered control systems was carried out, and the power consumption of the considered control systems of two simulation models of a booster pumping station were also presented in graphical form. The analysis of the models examined showed that it is more economical and safer to use a control circuit with a frequency converter and a Fuzzy Controller.
